๐Getting started
Click + New Resume on the dashboard. You will be taken directly into the editor. Fill in your Contact details first โ that is the only section required to save. Add sections for Experience, Education, Skills, and anything else relevant to your role. The live preview on the right updates as you type. When you are happy, click Export to download.
Yes. You can create multiple resumes โ one for each role or application. On the Free plan you can have up to 3. The Basic plan allows 10. The easiest way to make a variation is to click the โฎ menu on any resume card on the dashboard and choose Duplicate. Your duplicate starts as an exact copy โ rename it and tailor it for the new role.
Yes. The editor has a mobile layout with three tabs โ Sections, Editor, and Preview โ so you can work comfortably on a phone screen. All features including AI rewrite and export are available on mobile. For the best experience when writing longer sections, a tablet or desktop is recommended.
Yes โ your content is stored independently of the template. Click the template name in the top bar (e.g. Classic โพ) to open the template picker. Switch to Modern or Minimal and your content moves across instantly. You can also customise the accent colour and font family inside each template. Switching templates never deletes or changes your content.
Yes. The editor auto-saves every 10 seconds and also saves immediately when you leave a field. A Saved indicator in the top bar confirms your work is safe. Even if your connection drops, a local backup is kept in your browser and syncs when you reconnect.
Drag the grip icon (โ ฟ) on the left of any section row in the left nav to reorder sections. Inside a section, drag the grip icon on any item card to reorder items. Drag the grip next to any bullet point to reorder bullets. You can also use Move up and Move down in the โฎ menu on each item โ useful on mobile where dragging is harder.
Green dot = section is complete. Amber dot = section has something worth reviewing (e.g. summary is very short). Empty circle = section is empty. These update as you fill in your resume.
โจAI features
Click the โฆ sparkle button next to any bullet, summary, or description. The AI reads your text, understands the context of your role and the rest of your resume โ including your professional summary and other bullets in the same job โ and produces three improved versions for you to choose from. You pick the one you like, and you can undo it for 10 seconds if you change your mind.
The AI never invents facts. It only improves what you have written. If it estimates a metric you did not provide, it puts it in [brackets] so you know to verify and update it.
The review checks your resume across six categories and produces a 0โ100 score:

Click Review in the editor top bar to run it. It takes about 3 seconds. Each finding links directly to that part of your resume and suggests what to fix.
During early access, all users have 50 AI credits per day. A resume rewrite or generation costs 1 credit, and a cover letter costs 5 credits. The counter resets at midnight UTC each day. You can see your remaining credits in the quota indicator (โก) in the editor top bar. If you run out, you can still edit your resume manually โ AI features resume at the next reset.
Yes. In the Summary section of the editor, click โฆ Rewrite if you already have a summary, or โฆ Generate summary if the section is empty. The AI reads your experience, skills, and top achievements to write a tailored summary and produces three versions. You choose the one that best represents you.
Yes. In the Skills section, click โฆ Suggest skills. The AI reads your experience descriptions, bullet points, and project descriptions to identify skills you are clearly using but have not listed. Each suggestion shows a confidence score and the evidence โ the specific phrase in your resume that demonstrates that skill. You choose which to add.
Yes. Inside any bullet list, click + โฆ Add bullet with AI. Describe what you did in rough notes โ even a few words is enough. The AI turns it into a polished, action-verb-led bullet and produces three variants so you can pick the strongest one.
When you use AI rewrite, review, or skill suggestions, the relevant text from your resume is sent to an external AI service for processing. Only the text of the specific field or section being processed is sent โ not your entire resume or account details. This data is used solely to generate your result and is not stored or used for any other purpose. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
No. Your resume data is never used to train any AI model โ by us or by the services we use for AI processing. The text sent for rewriting is processed for that single request only and is not retained beyond generating your result.
Not exactly. The AI produces slightly different output each time, which is why you receive three variants to choose from. However, if you rewrite the same unchanged text twice in a short period, results may be similar because outputs are cached to save your quota. Edit the text first to get a fresh result.

Open Cover Letters and click New cover letter. Pick the resume it is for, then either choose a saved bookmarked jobfrom your Job Tracker or paste a job description manually. The AI writes a tailored letter using the role's requirements and your real experience.
No. Every claim is grounded strictly in your resume โ the generator will not invent employers, titles, metrics, or achievements. Cover letters are a strong starting point, so we still recommend you read through and personalise the letter before you send it.
Yes. Edit any paragraph directly in the editor. To get fresh wording, click Rewrite on a paragraph โ the AI returns a few alternatives, ranked best first, and you pick the one you like. Your changes save automatically.
Click Export in the cover letter editor. PDF is available on every plan. Word (.docx) export is included on Basic and above.
Cover letters are limited per resume by your plan: 2 on Free, 10 on Basic, and 50 on Pro. You can delete old letters to free up room at any time.
๐ผJob tracker
The Job Tracker is a board for the roles you are pursuing. Click Add job and fill in the title, company, and โ if you have it โ the job description and link. Saved jobs can then be used to generate cover letters.
Each job sits in one stage: Bookmarked (saved, not yet applied), Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Hired, and Rejected. Move a job along as your application progresses.
On desktop, drag a card from one column to another. On mobile, swipe between stages and use the card's Move to menu to send it to a different column. Changes save instantly.
When you create a cover letter you can pick one of your bookmarked jobs instead of pasting a job description โ the title, company, and description are filled in for you. After the letter is generated, we ask whether you have applied so you can move the job to Applied in one click.
Saved jobs are limited by your plan: 25 on Free, 200 on Basic, and 1,000 on Pro. Archive or delete jobs you are no longer tracking to free up space.
Get the best from AI rewrite
Write your bullet points in rough first โ even a few words โ and let the AI improve them. The AI works better when it has something real to work with rather than a blank field.
Improve your resume format
Use standard section names (Experience, Education, Skills). Avoid tables and multiple columns. Start every bullet with a strong action verb. Include specific numbers and percentages wherever you can.

Three formats: PDF, Word (.docx), and Plain text (.txt).
- PDF and plain text are generated instantly in your browser โ no waiting.
- Word export is generated by our server and takes 2โ4 seconds. You will see a progress indicator in the editor top bar and a notification when it is ready.
During early access, all three formats are available to all users for free.
All three templates (Classic, Modern, Minimal) are designed to be compatible with automated screening systems: single column layout, real selectable text, standard section names, and no images or embedded graphics. These design choices give your resume the best chance of being parsed correctly. For additional verification, we recommend uploading your exported PDF to a free checker such as Jobscan or Resume Worded.
The preview and the PDF are generated from the same source and should look identical. If you notice a difference, it is usually caused by a font not finishing loading before the export started. Wait a moment after the editor loads, then try exporting again. If the issue continues, please contact us.
Yes. The TXT export produces a clean, 72-character-wide plain text resume you can paste into any application form. Section headings are in UPPERCASE. Bullets use a hyphen ( - ) rather than a bullet symbol for maximum compatibility with older systems including government and HR portals.
Click Export in the editor top bar, select Word (.docx), and click Export. The modal closes and you will see a progress indicator. When your Word document is ready, a notification appears โ click Download to save the file. The download link stays active for 5 minutes.
Shareable resume links are coming in a future update. For now, export as PDF and share the file directly.
๐Account and privacy
Your data is stored in an encrypted database and is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Access is protected by secure authentication. You can export all your data or delete your account at any time from Account โ Danger zone. See our full Privacy Policy.
Go to Account โ Profile and click Change next to your email address. Enter your new address and click Send verification email. Click the link that arrives at your new address to confirm the change.
On the login page, click Forgot password? Enter your email address and we will send a reset link that expires after 1 hour. If you do not see the email, check your spam folder. If you signed up with Google or LinkedIn and never set a password, go to Account โ Security and click Set password.
Yes. Connect Google or LinkedIn from Account โ Connected accounts. Once connected you can sign in with either. If you disconnect a provider and have no password set, you will be asked to set a password first to prevent being locked out.
Go to Account โ Danger zone and click Delete account permanently. You will be asked to type your email address to confirm. Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion 30 days after the request โ this grace period lets you cancel by signing back in. After 30 days, deletion is final and cannot be reversed.
Your resumes are never deleted when you change plans. If you downgrade, you keep all your existing resumes โ you just cannot create new ones beyond the plan limit. Everything you have already built stays with you.
